One day I will burn  all these blue things  The day this obsession ends and madness creeps into this place, I will see blue fire. All pale things around me are piling up now  Dead Bright Blue  Teal, Cyan and Ebony in which I now find my solace  will become mere litter And I will burn them  Then I will find other things  Red of fresh blood or cloated blood  Lush Green of branching veins  Deep Brown of hollow eyes I will create a new sky or ocean  of new colours and name them mine I will unleash the suppressed one, Thanatos, the stronger one.

Ordinary miracle

Yesterday I dissolved into the bed. Slightly irritated by the fuss Of morning birds and chorus I woke up when sun was far away. Now there is enough sundust To gobble up, enough for my starving soul. Eight AM sunlight hit me hard. Heart is galloping in every beat. I am there doing my work. But the cover carrying heart and others Is still finding its strength Cursing and complaining about Yesterday's squander of good health Pleading not do it again. Heart knows what it craves for. When the body wakes up from its grave It will do the exact same thing. This perishable thing, body is a complaining old woman. She won't shut up. Heart disowned her many times But heart has no mobility  And every will of it is bound by body. With creaking sounds body Was ripped off from the bed, As it carries the weight of the world. होंगे कामयाब

ആദ്യമായി English കവിത മത്സരത്തിൽ എഴുതാൻ പോയത് എനിക്ക് ഓർമ്മയുണ്ട്. ഏത് ക്ലാസിൽ പഠിക്കുമ്പോഴാണ് എന്ന് കൃത്യമായി ഓർമ്മയില്ല; ഇനി ഉണ്ടായാലും ഞാൻ പറയാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നില്ല. എനിക്ക് ക്ഷീണമാണ്. English poem writing competition എന്നല്ലാതെ English versification എന്ന് അവർ മത്സരത്തെ വിളിച്ചപ്പോഴേ ഞാൻ ഓർക്കണമായിരുന്നു. മലയാളം കഥ മത്സരത്തിന് ഉപജില്ലാ മത്സരം കടന്നിട്ടുള്ള ധൈര്യത്തിലാണ് ഞാൻ അവിടേക്ക് പോയത്. ചെന്നപ്പോൾ ഒരു മുറി നിറയെ കുട്ടികളുണ്ട്. മലയാളം മത്സരങ്ങൾക്ക് auditorium നിറയുന്നത് വെച്ച് നോക്കുമ്പോൾ അവിടെ അതൊരു തിരക്ക് അല്ലായിരുന്നു. എനിക്ക് ഇപ്പോഴും ഓർമ്മയുണ്ട്, ഇരുണ്ട മുറിയും ബഹളവും. ടീച്ചർ വന്ന് വിഷയം തന്നു. 'Hatred.' കുറേപ്പേർ എഴുതിത്തുടങ്ങി. കുറച്ചുപേർ ചിന്തിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. ക്ലാസ്സിൽ നിന്ന് രക്ഷപ്പെടാൻ വന്നവർ ഒരു വശത്തിരുന്ന് സംസാരിക്കുന്നു. ഞാൻ ബോർഡിലെ ആറ് letters നോക്കി ഇരിക്കുകയാണ്. എന്നെ കണ്ടാൽ ഞാൻ ബോർഡിൽ നിന്ന് കവിത വലിച്ചെടുക്കും പോലെയേ തോന്നൂ. പക്ഷേ ഞാൻ തകർന്നിരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. അന്നത്തെ എൻ്റെ പ്രായത്തിന് hatred എന്താണ് എന്ന് അറിയേണ്ടതായിരുന്നു. പക്ഷേ എനിക്ക് അതിൻ്റെ അർ...
